Step 1 of 8About you

Let's start with you

Tap the gold microphone next to any field and just say your answer out loud — no typing needed.

Your name & contact

Needed to complete the electronic application file. It stays on this device — it is never sent over the internet by this form.

A little more about you

Children or others you financially support (don't count yourself or a spouse).

Where you live now

Applying with someone?

A spouse, partner, or family member whose income and credit will also be considered.

About your co-applicant

They can speak their own answers too — just pass the phone and tap the gold mic.

Their name & contact

Where they live

Their work & income

Your work & income

This helps show you can comfortably afford the loan. Estimates are fine — you can update them later.

Current job

Monthly income before taxes

Bonuses, overtime, rental income, social security, etc.

What you own

Your savings and assets — this is where your down payment and closing costs come from.

Money in accounts

401(k), IRA, stocks, mutual funds — a rough total is fine.

Money a family member is giving you toward the home.

What you owe each month

Just the monthly payment for each — not the total balance. Skip anything that doesn't apply.

Child support, personal loans, other mortgages, etc.

The home & your loan

Tell us about the home you're buying or refinancing.

Loan basics

The property

If you haven't found a home yet, just type "TBD".

A few required questions

Every lender is required to ask these. Honest answers here won't automatically disqualify you — they just help complete the picture.

A few optional questions

The federal government asks lenders to collect this information to help make sure everyone is treated fairly in home lending. Your answers cannot be used to decide your loan, and "I don't wish to answer" is always an option.

Your information

Look everything over

Tap "Edit" on any section to make changes before you submit.

Please check the box to confirm before submitting.

Application submitted

Nice work — that's the hard part done.

The 3.4 file is a MISMO v3.4 XML export designed to be imported into a loan origination system or Desktop Underwriter® workflow.

This plain-language application is modeled on the Uniform Residential Loan Application (Fannie Mae Form 1003 / Freddie Mac Form 65). Your answers stay on this device. When you submit, only your name, contact details, and a brief loan summary are sent to Abo Capital so a loan officer can follow up — your Social Security number, date of birth, and the government monitoring answers are never transmitted by this form and appear only in the file you choose to export and deliver yourself. Submitting is not a loan application decision and not a commitment to lend; all loans subject to underwriting approval.

Abo Capital · Interview

Let’s do this as a conversation.

I’ll ask one question at a time, out loud. Just answer by speaking — or tap and type whenever you prefer. It takes about five minutes, and you can switch to the classic form at any point.

Fully hands-free: I read each question aloud and listen for your answer — you can even confirm by saying “yes.” Say “repeat,” “go back,” or “skip” anytime. Nothing you say leaves this device until you choose to submit.
